The CottonFog way of doing things is simple and effective. We focus on the heart of the task or mission and let things grow from there in a natural and organic way; never forcing anything but always allowing for room to grow and providing a nurturing enviornment where good things love to flourish. Our approach to our dogs is seeded with this philosophy and the mission is simply to provide great dogs to great people.
I have bought 4 dogs in as many years and in that process I have seen several home grown breeding operaions and with the exception of Weinie's birth place they were all places I would never want any dog to be. We have made the decision that at CottonFog Farm none of our puppies or their parents will be AKC/CKC registered. This allows us to provide quality pets at a lower cost and deters  puppy mills and brokers from purchasing our stock for profitable breeding in conditions that we do not approve of.
WHAT SETS US APART?
Our breeding stock consits of 3 dogs and each is considered a member of our family.
Weinie: 4 year old Red smooth hair male minature daschund weighs about 15 lbs
Stubby: 3 year old half breed minatrue black & grey dapple daschund crossed with a minature pincher weighs about 20 lbs.
Maddie: 1 year and a half old female  minatrue black & grey dapple daschund with blue eyes; weighs about 8 - 9 lbs
Our dogs are raised within an extended family totaling 19 members altogether. Including 5 goats, 5 hens, 1 rooster, 1 pig, 1 cat and our 18 month old daughter, Abbigail. This makes for well adjusted and highly socialized animals
